Here's me performing one of my newer tunes, "Burning Bush", for 1500 peace marchers in front of the Vermont Statehouse during a fall 2005 peace rally. But I like playing all kinds of public events, if the music fits. As a singer/songwriter/guitarist, I enjoy playing wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions, in particular, and have even written a number of original songs for happy couples on their special day over the years.

I also play fiddle with Green Mountain Junction - a three-piece instrumental acoustic trio. We offer a beautiful and adventurous exploration of a unique musical approach we call "hill jazz", an original blend of guitar, fiddle, and upright bass, creating an acoustic amalgamation of New England and Americana sounds.

Here's how we officially describe our sound, which you can listen to below:

  • Straddling the worlds of bluegrass, folk, and jazz, while not falling into any one particular genre, Green Mountain Junction's music evokes the serenity and playfulness of the Vermont Green Mountain landscape.
  • We are not a dance band, but our acoustic trio may be the perfect musical blend for your wedding ceremony, rehearsal dinner, or cocktail reception!
